To pull off significa conseguir fazer alguma coisa considerada muito difícil, ter sucesso em algo. Exemplos:
“I don’t know how, but she managed to pull off a draft of a new project in three days” (Eu não sei como, mas ela conseguiu fazer um esboço de um projeto em três dias).
“It was hard, but he pulled off an incredible show” (Foi difícil, mas ele conseguiu fazer um show incrível).
