Brush off

Brush off é um phrasal verb que significa ignorar. Exemplos:

“She was being very annoying, so I just brushed her off.” (Ela estava sendo muito chata, então eu a ignorei.)

“He was being incovenient, that’s why people kept brushing him off.” (Ele estava sendo inconveniente, é por isso que as pessoas o ignoravam.)
