Slack off significa ter preguiça, deixar de trabalhar ou estudar. Exemplos:

“I’ve been slacking off a lot lately” (Eu tenho tido muita preguiça ultimamente).

“People usually slack off at this time” (As pessoas geralmente ficam de preguiça nessa época).
