Rack up

Rack up é um phrasal verb que significa aumentar ou acumular alguma coisa em grande quantidade. Exemplos:

“The landlord racked up the rent by 30%.” (O proprietário aumentou o aluguel em 30%.)

“Mary racked up more than $5,000 in bonus this year.” (Mary acumulou mais de $5,000 em bônus esse ano.)
