Lag behind

Lag behind é um phrasal verb que significa estar atrás de alguém ou alguma coisa por ser mais devagar. Exemplos:

“Let’s try not to lag behind and win this.” (Vamos tentar não ficar para trás e ganhar isso.)

“The government is investing in AI so we don’t lag behind other countries.” (O governo está investindo em IA para não ficar atrás de outros países.)
