Beat up

Beat up pode significar bater (ou dar uma surra) ou martirizar. Exemplos:

“He got beat up when he was coming home” (Ele levou uma surra quando estava voltando para casa).

“Don’t beat yourself up because of this, it’s fine” (Não se martirize por isso, está tudo bem).
