Sub

Sub é uma abreviação de substitute or submarine que significa substituto ou submarino. Exemplos:

“Sometimes the subs are better than the current employees.” (As vezes os substitutos são melhores que os funcionários atuais.)

“The sub suddenly rose to the surface and everybody was shocked.” (O submarino subiu à superfície de repente e todo mundo ficou chocado.)
