Offbeat é uma gíria que significa algo não convencional, não usual, excêntrico(a). Exemplos:

“She is a little offbeat but she’s nice.” (Ela é um pouco não convencional mas ela é legal.)

“Peter style is offbeat but highly creative.” (O estilo do Peter é não usual mas altamente criativo.)
