Near thing

Near thing é uma expressão que significa por pouco, por um triz, quando algo quase deu errado. Exemplos:

“It was near thing, but we caught the bus.” (Foi por pouco, mas pegamos o ônibus.)

“They won the match, but it was near thing.” (Ele ganharam o jogo, mas foi por um triz.)
