Ham it up

Ham it up é um phrasal verb que significa exagerar ou agir de maneira muito dramática. Exemplos:

“Peter likes dressing as a character and ham it up for the kids during parties.” (Peter gosta de se vestir como personagem e exagerar para as crianças durante as festas.)

“During the festival the actors were really hamming it up and the audience loved it.” (Durante o festival os atores estavam agindo de maneira extremamente dramática e a audiência amou.)
