Go ballistic significa ficar muito bravo(a). Exemplos:

“My dad went ballistic because of my grades”. (Meu pai ficou muito bravo por causa das minhas notas).

“I think she will go ballistic if we don’t tell her”. (Eu acho que ela vai ficar muito brava se a gente não contar pra ela).
