Call someone’s bluff

Call someone’s bluff é uma gíria que significa fazer alguém admitir que está mentindo, desafiar ou expor alguém que está contando uma mentira. Exemplos:

“She called his bluff right away and everybody was surprised.” (Ela expôs a mentira dele na hora e todos ficaram surpresos.)

“When they called her bluff she had to admit that she was lying.” (Quando eles a contestaram ela teve que admitir que estava mentindo.)
